I’m on it. Bobby Bowden was just on. Fabulous!
I like both teams. I guess I don’t really have a favorite.
I will say Auburn is the luckiest team I have ever seen. Still they had to be fairly good to take advantage of the luck.
Is this one of those “Not Good Enough to Make the Real Bowl, the ROSE BOWL” bowls?
sincerely,
a very proud Michigan State Spartan fan ;)
TIDE Fan Here,Wife is an Auburn Fan...You’re right Auburn has had a run of luck this season, though I think they’re on their way back.Have to root for AU Tonight.
Winston is overrated. The ACC has had a terrible bowl season. Auburn has played a tough schedule and Florida State will not.
Lack of toughness will mean, Florda St. (much like the previously undefeated number 2 Ohio State Buckeyes) will find out that playing a really good team is a lot different than beating up on a pansy.
This Gator says, “War Damn Eagle!”

OSU was beaten by Clemson, which had the dog excrement beaten out of it, even after FSU took their foot off the gas in the second half. FSU is the real deal. Check out their margins of victory this season realizing they backed off in all of those games.
Auburn is in for a gang-rape.
(Not an FSU fan here.)
I know what you mean. I have a Sister who is an FSU grad and a Brother-in-Law who is an Auburn grad. I have a bunch who are Florida alums including one who attended way back in the early 1900s.
Me, I am a Troy grad.
War Eagle
The ACC was the underdog in every bowl but two, counting this one. FSU is now favored by -10.5 in this game.
FSU!
+1. May Auburn win, but I fear not...
I am for AU in this one but it seems the team I am for finds a way to lose.
Here is a stat for you,
Except for MSU, OSU played 5 bowl teams. All of them lost except for one where two of them played each other.
OSU is a great example of team beating a bunch of pansies and then when they play a real football team, they fold like a cheap suit.
If you don’t play quality competition during the season, you will fail when you play a real football team.
I hear lots of pundits say that FSU hasn’t “beaten anybody.”
I saw that Clemson game, after I had seen Clemson beat a ranked (at the time) Georgia team a couple of weeks earlier. Clemson is a very good team, and they beat a good Buckeye squad in the Orange Bowl.
And FSU crushed them. And they beat a pretty good Duke team that just lost a wild one with Texas A&M and Johnny Football.
I do give Auburn a shot in this one, but they’re they only team in the country I’d even give a shot to.
At least if Auburn wins, we can still boast more titles than FSU (3 to 2).
What’s an “Auburn?”
Your analysis is spot on.
