“In MILK, Sean Penn played Harvey Milk.”

I did not see this movie, and I’m pretty sure it was a complete white-wash of Milk’s life, but from the ads on TV it looked like Penn gave a great performance.

Milk was a snooze-fest. If the real Harvey Milk was anything like Penn portrayed, he was not in any way "heroic". Just annoying.

The only interesting character was Dan White, played by Josh Brolin.

A liberal democrat who didn't really hate Milk personally, but happened to be in the wrong place when White assassinated the mayor of SF.

Milk: Didn’t see the movie, but pretty sure it didn’t cover Milk’s taste for underage boys.
