BOSTON (AP) Police say a woman had her toe bitten off at a New Years Eve party in Boston.
Officers responded to a city hospital at about 5 a.m. Wednesday for a report of an apparent assault in which the victims little toe on her left foot was bitten off.
The victim told police she made a sexual advance to another woman at the party in the citys Dorchester neighborhood at about 3 a.m., which upset the other womans boyfriend and led to a fight.

So, she’s a butch lesbian and he’s a toe-biter. Sounds fair to me.

Coincidentally, “These Boots are Made for Walkin” and “Feet Don't Fail Me Now” were played earlier in the evening.

Trying to imagine how the fight ended up where her toe was near his mouth...

The Boston Glob’s full article (linked within the story) has this line:
“The fight started after a victim approached a girl at the party and asked if she would like to hook up,”
She wasn’t a “victim” when she rudely asked someone’s girlfriend for sex.
Make it a heterosexual male propositioning someone that way and the “victimhood” status would go away.

I had a freind in college from Dorchester.
That’s not really a neighborhood you want to go pissing off someone’s boyfriend on New Year’s Eve. He took it easy on her because she was a girl...and he was probably a little turned on.

Shaken, the woman told the host what happened, she told police, but her friend did not believe the story and accused her of ruining the party. The victim told police that the host then assaulted her, punching her until other guests pulled them apart, Grant said. Sounds like the "victim's" story is biased and incomplete. Her friend was the host who then suddenly punched her?

The first article I read made it sound like the woman’s boyfriend bit off the “victim’s” toe.
But in the embedded article there was this:
“The two women fell to the ground, with the victim on top of her friend, according to her account. They fought until they were separated once more, at which point the host grabbed the victims left foot and bit off her left little toe.”
