2013 Saw a ‘Tsunami of Regulatory Actions’ on Environment, Senate GOPs Charge

Senate Republicans maintain the Obama administration has kept the American public “in the dark” over detrimental regulations implemented to address global climate change.

A report issued by GOP lawmakers on the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee maintains the White House Climate Action Plan released earlier this year is “sweeping in breadth” and requires greater oversight than has thus far been provided, since it “has every area of the federal government working towards its goal of justifying a carbon-constrained economy.”

Uh, and just what do these senate capitulators plan to do about the public being kept in the dark? Hmmmm. Prolly not too much. Obviously no help from the lsm. After all, the gop-e is the party of dirty air and water. And the war on women. And the war on the poor. And the war on blacks. And the war on hispanics. You know the drill.

The motto of this administration is “by any means necessary”. Hmmmm, where have I heard that one before? No matter. Since they can’t get what they want through Congress they will just do it another way. Why let silly things like the Constitution stand in their way?

And though the past has it’s share of injustice
Kind was the spirit in many a way
But it’s protectors and friends have been sleeping
Now it’s a monster and will not obey

The spirit was freedom and justice
And it’s keepers seem generous and kind
It’s leaders were supposed to serve the country
But now they won’t pay it no mind

‘Cause the people grew fat and got lazy
And now their vote is a meaningless joke
They babble about law and order
But it’s all just an echo of what they’ve been told

Yeah, there’s a monster on the loose
It’s got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watchin’

Our cities have turned into jungles
And corruption is stranglin’ the land
The police force is watching the people
And the people just can’t understand...

‘Cause there’s a monster on the loose
It’s got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watching

America where are you now?
Don’t you care about your sons and daughters?
Don’t you know we need you now
We can’t fight alone against the monster

Yup. And how long ago did John and the dudes of Steppenwolf put this out? (of course, I think it may have been directed at something else at the time but it sure fits today)

The Congress could stop the regulators if they had balls.

They have none.

Oh my, remember going to a few Steppenwolf concerts and though Id like to forget what I took to get in the mood I vividly remember and believed the message of not trusting government

Now the children of the 60’and are in charge and somehow managed to creat the government they feared

Can we start this song over please
