Weary travelers at San Francisco International Airport can now while away time at the terminal by cavorting with black Labs, Saint Bernards, terriers and other specially trained therapy dogs.
The dogs, introduced by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in early December, are meant to cheer the homesick, the aggravated, the fuming and the just plain bored. Accompanied by their owners, the pups trot through the airport wearing vests reading "Pet Me" in hopes of meeting new friends and experiencing many fascinating new smells.
SFO is not the first airport to let the dogs in. Airports in Los Angeles, Florida and Buffalo, N.Y., also have dogs. So does San Jose.

What? No therapy cats?
This is a big thing during exam time at a lot of universities. They bring in dogs to dorms or a room in the library and let the students relax by petting the animals.
We’ve done it the past 2-3 years now and it’s very popular.
All dogs shed, some just more than others and all dogs have dander, again, some more than others. I feel for your wife and the animal allergy. I finally became allergic to cats after having them all my life. when the last one died about 10 years ago, I said no more.
Years ago when I had my first allergy test done, I was allergic to cow dander, OK with meat and milk, just had to give up milking! (We did not have milk cows, just kidding). Also leather shoes were OK too. Allergies are strange.
Muslims ain’t gonna like this.
Send Rover in to take a p!ss in their footbath basin, LOL.
“Muslims aint gonna like this.”
Maybe that would keep them away from the airports — a safety feature. :)
LOL!
I wish there was a story to go with that picture.
Hah - I agree - but in their own self interests, passengers should be allowed to screen their fellow travelers.
Result:
TSA nonexistant
Two kind of flights: Non-Muslim & all-Muslim (sprinkled with a few self-flagellating liberals, naturally)
