Warm day today here in the Phoenix area. Low 70s. I was outside tidying up in the garden in shorts and blouse with no jacket!

I was pleasantly surprised that I have tomatoes ripening. This variety is Stupice, which I planted at the end of August.

I started some tomato seeds indoors a couple of weeks ago and today I transplanted the first of them into plastic cups where they will live until they are put out in the garden. I'm growing 4 varieties of tomatoes this year, but want only 2 plants each. DH gave me an EarthBox for Christmas and I'll try growing some cherry tomatoes in it.

This variety is Stupice,

Those are GOOD! I planted those a couple of years ago because I think they were marked as "early ripening" which is a bonus around here with our short summers. I'd never had them before, and I was very impressed with them.

Stupice is a good early tomato. I have grown some of those before. We are having nice weather here, but not so nice as to break out the shorts. LOL
