GeronL -- I wonder if anyone, self excluded, here in the universe of FReepers still uses lynx? Free Republic displays perfectly on it (graphics aside, of course). There are times when I do maintenance without X running and the combo of lynx/Free Republic works just fine.

I’ve not used Opera. I used Chrome but it’s memory hog, then Mozilla which seems to get tied up in some Java script BS over longer periods and then IE which won’t display properly but has some of the plugins I use.

And then everyone tells me how perfect their currently used browser is. What a pant load.
