I’m going tomorrow. It’s Scorsese movie, that mean LOTS of profanity, and usually violence, and drug references, and it’s R rated. Not sure what you were expecting.
I was expecting a story about whistleblowers and corporate intrigue. Instead, I got a flick that literally made me nauseus. I lasted about 10-15 minutes, and that’s only because I was trapped at the end of a row against the wall. Otherwise, I would have left earlier.
It makes me sad that our culture has been coarsened to this filth. There is better entertainment out there. Trouble is — I’d already seen those movies. Currently in theatres around here: The Book Thief — excellent; Philomena — outstanding; The Christmas Candle — OK, a little silly; Saving Mr. Banks — outstanding.
