my favorite is Danny Elfman- He did the music for “The Simpsons” and a LOT of other stuff you would know.
He used to be the lead singer and songwriter in the band “Oingo Boingo”

I go to youtube to locate music from movies. Last time was A Christmas Carol from 1951, I wanted to hear the background music. Had it in a few minutes.
The music can drive the story. Replace with music not as good and the movie changes.
