Well, stand back, because here is one born and bred Texan who will call her the worthless scrunt that she is. I don’t discriminate based upon geography.

Aside from that fact, I don’t personally consider Houston to be part of Texas. It’s a strange place down in the swamps between us and Louisiana. It’s rumored that they have a football team. Now, Dallas which I do consider part of the Texas, is getting pretty bad having now gotten the reputation of being the San Francisco of the Southwest.
She’d better hope her car never breaks down Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.

So, I googled the ostensible quote from the Houston mayor, and not a single article mentions WHERE or WHEN or to WHOM this statement was made or the context, nor do ANY of them provide any attribution.
In fact, there are just a few hits on the quote and they pretty much seem to all be in a circular echo chamber of couple dozen 4th tier web sites.
It may be true, but at this point it looks apocryphal.

Funny her feeling the need to comment if Phil and his views are totally irrelevant. Sounds like someone is jealous of the attention Phil is receiving.

And she’s an unconstitutional b-yotch who has violated the oath of office by ushering in taxpayer funding of same sex couples’ partners who are NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE STATE as being legally married.

The fact that he has a Masters Degree eludes the Left, just as when they found out President Bush had a Masters Degree and had better College Grades than Al Gore and John Kerry.

Houston’s last city election had several open Communists on the ballot. This mayor was funded by homosexual activists nationwide. And the city only elects Democrats to the position.
Our next mayor (she’s now term limited out) may be the gay George Greanias. He was busted on city time using city equipment to cruise for rent boys. This mayor excused his behavior.
They sometimes are but then it is a "bad" thing.
Liberal Democrats in the $300,000 a home Heights re-elect Shelia Jackson Lee as their Congressoysterperson. You tell me how this happens.
She will run for governor/higher office as Chris Bell and Bill White did (and failed in doing so).
