“1. Creationists are dishonest. 2. Darwinist are slower to murder people in colonial schemes than non-Darwinists.”

How many Creationists or anti-Evolutionist Christians do you know who actually believe in Gal 6:12 [”Kindness unto ALL people ...”] and at the same time preach survival of ‘the fittest’? Darwin had ice water running through his veins, and so did the Crazy Kaiser.

I hope you are simply disingenuous because what kind of brain honestly compares corrupt Spanish conquistadors as the same as modern American Christians?

Speaking for myself and others, many anti-evolutionists are NOT creationists. Many believe in “Intelligent Design”. I myself am not a Creationist because the Sun was not even created until the third day. [Not solar days.] Nor do I think that Genesis is perfectly interpreted. In a later scripture, Egypt allegedly fed the entire earth. I am not an 'Egyptianist' either. An obvious misinterpretation or perhaps a misconception from an ancient viewpoint. But as for Darwinists, 'random selection' is 'out' last I heard since some mutations have been scientifically proven to be 'intuitive'. So the world is still a big darn mystery, 'aint it? I still tend toward Evolution, but at least I know enough to know that NO ONE knows.

I hope you see the irony I intended.

In my response to the post that was intended by the author and poster to blame all those who are convinced by evidence of Evolution for German cruelty in Africa during the ‘scramble for Africa’, I blamed all those not convinced by evidence for evolution for his dishonesty.

It was intended as a bad example of the method used by the author.

It is vastly unfair to blame Darwin for the acts of Germans after he died. I see it all the time.

Darwin did not have ice water in his veins. He held strongly that it was the duty of those better off to help those less well off, and recognized that social structures would have significant effect on evolutionary fitness.

For example: newborns are significantly less fit than adults for almost all macrocellular species. Yet they have to survive for the species to continue. Social structures explain how that happens with animals, and that nearly always trumps mere form and structure. Humans, having greater ability to form more complex social structures, would have greater ability to overcome our weaknesses in form and structure.

What really bugs me, is people who lump together multiple things they do not like, and assert, without evidence, they must always go together, and then lump together things they do like, and assert (without evidence) that these things must always go together.

In the real works, some Christians accept evolution. Others don’t. Some Christians are Democratic socialists. Other are not. People are amazingly diverse in their ideas, and surprisingly close to identical in their genotype.

There may be a distinction between Creationist and Intelligent Design types, but no difference.
