Just was mentioning that Rush admitted to borrowing style, presentation, sarcasm from Lujack (who hated Rush’s guts).
You don’t have to be a fan of Rush, but for those, just a bit of trivia. (Rush mentioned the hatred Lujack had for him...)
Talk host Jeff Katz (currently at WRVA Richmond VA) told me on FB that Rush was kinda channeling Lujack even back in his
“Jeff Christie” days in Pittsburgh
I heard him do one of the cruelest things on the radio once: he was praising how attractive the Bush twins were, while ripping the looks of Amy Carter and Chelsea Clinton. I thought that was just unbelievable. They were kids! And I said I was appalled by that, and it got back to Rush.
