To add to your list: Cinnamon lowers cholesterol, ginger helps alleviate Arthritic pain. Cranberry capsules are great for bladder infections. There are so many natural things that we can do to address the ravages of aging. I see my family doc. twice a year. He asks how I’m doing. I say I’m doing great. We pray together and I tell him I will see him in 6 months.

Even for my slipped disc, the doctor recommended over the counter Naproxen Sodium instead of a narcotic (which worked)

Huge bottle at Costco is cheap.

I take vitamin D, 5,000IU nearly everyday. It made a big difference. I had more energy, I believe it was responsible for me being able to give up my thyroid medicine. I went to 6 doctors and the 6th one said you need more vitamin D. He suggested 2,000UI a day. I did a little internet research and found you can take more which did the trick for me.

I also needed more iron so I take one 65mg tablet maybe 3 times a week. I also take two 250mg tablets of magnesium again 3 times a week. Drinking diet soda I read washes out the magnesium.

These 3 vitamins made a big difference. I do not get headaches, the room does not spin around and I am not lethargic anymore. If anything the multi-vitamins do not give you enough of the vitamins.

I got more pep in my step!

Turmeric, even so it is not a vitamin so to speak of is a good example, with so many benefits it would take more than a page.

Turmeric is awesome.

Usually any health food store carries Liquid Iodine.
You can purchase Liquid iodine for about 11 dollars a bottle, it lasts for months. Then there is always the Famous LUGOL’s iodine

http://www.altcancer.com/lugols.htm

I do buy Nascent iodine, but it is a bit expensive, but a bottle last 3 months or more. it’s 36 dollars. Do your research on it. also Dr Brownstein who wrote a book on iodine says this:Dr. Brownstein feels iodine is the most misunderstood nutrient. He feels it is impossible to achieve your optimal health when there is iodine deficiency present. This book provides information on how iodine therapy can help:
•ADHD
•Autism
•Breast, Thyroid, Ovarian and Uterine Cancer
•Detoxification
•Fatigue
•Fibrocystic Breasts
•Graves’ Disease
•Hashimoto’s Disease
•Hypothyroidism
•Improve the Immune System

Iodine deficiency is occurring at epidemic rates. Over the last 40 years, the U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys have found iodine levels have declined over 50% in the U.S. population.

The Feds have been pushing for a while to cut off the “nutritional supplement” industry. This is likely just more junk science pushing a hidden political agenda.

John McCain has tried for years to outlaw supplements, have you joined his team?

Anything more than the body actually uses just gets pissed away.

Same with beer, are you opposed to that for the same reason?

What could possibly go wrong?

the effective cost of bringing a new product to market is just under $1B.

Probably take them a couple months to recoup that. Viagra at $10.00 a pop and covered by medicare hardly seems like a gamble.

My father use to have cold after cold until he started taking 1 multivitamin a day ,now he can’t remember the last time he had a cold

I haven't had one in over 30 years, right after I started taking vitamins still do, twice a day.
