Compare that with the news coming out about Shirley MacClaine!
What would that be? She’s a nasty old hag.
Just last night while watching Woody Allen’s (I know, I know...) “Purple Rose of Cairo,” I startled dear husband, shouting, “that’s Peter O’Toole!”
The scene lasts no more than 4 seconds but there, handsome Peter O’Toole, is.
O’Toole’s old friend (at the time...) Woody Allen’s movie is about a T.E. Lawrence-type movie character stepping out of the screen and romancing Mia Farrow’s mousey, depression era waitress.
Why not cameo Hollywood’s Lawrence of Arabia here, if one could?
I find no reference to this cameo in the inter web, IMDB world but there he is. Three seconds, not a word spoken, upstaged by the woman in the car with him who shouts to the camera.
Was it Peter O’Toole and why do I find no reference to this anywhere?
Her daughter’s written a tell-all that apparently makes “Mommie Dearest” look like “I Remember Mama.” Horrible stuff!
Yes, he was a free spirit. He was saying something embarrassing or self-depreciating. He was never boring.
May he RIP.
I wouldn’t doubt that for a second. VJ is or was a slum lord in Chicago.
I can’t believe George and Laura Bush spent all those hours on AF 1 with all those evil people.
Whoops, I responded to the wrong post. (I thought I was responding to something about Valerie Jarrett—sorry).
One of my brothers owns property adjacent to her property in New Mexico. He said she’s crazy as a loon and mean spirited.
It’s wonderful to learn he was humble and fun in addition to being a spectacular Movie Star.
Nose job? Oh well, kudos to whomever performed the job for not wrecking one of the best faces ever.
You’d think Ms. MacClaine would have been nicer to everyone given her silly faith in karma, reincarnation and all that.
That is nice, thanks for sharing. For those of us out here who have never had and never will have any personal experiences with celebrities, it is good to hear that some of them are nice people. RIP Mr. O’Toole.
I don't think folks at that level view it the way most FReepers do. More like football players from different teams who socialize in the off season.

Football players don’t destroy nations. Sorry, but there is no excuse for GW Bush and his wife to yuck it up with an avowed enemy of our country who is doing everything he can to destroy her.
Bush should be ashamed.
I agree lp. I thought the same thing seeing those pics.
In before the I thought he was already dead posts!
Actually, according a Fakebook post an hour ago by his relative Janie (wife, daughter?), Ray is not dead yet!
It’s beyond disgusting.
Here’s the third: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni56546836/?ref_=hm_nw_tp_t2 Tom Laughlin from the Billy Jack movies just died. I had no idea he was 82.
I just saw that Joan Fontaine died today. She was Olivia DeHaveland’s (sp) sister.
I know the name, but not sure I have seen in her in anything. Olivia Davilland was in Gone with the Wind, right? I’m looking her up now and also had to look up spelling of name. HOLY COW lp. She’s still alive!!! Born in 1916! Her sister was born in 1917. I’ll have to tell my mom. She is big on births, marriages, and deaths. She was immersed in the stars in the 1950s growing up in England. She had visions of the U.S. as being one big Hollywood. :)
Since it appears that Ray Price is still breathing, she’s the third: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3102127/posts
Your Mom will remember her, for sure.
My Dad was born in 1918 and once when we saw one of her movies, he commented on her being an attractive “girl”. LOL
How cute on your dad! Sis Olivia was a cutie, too!
