Sad news today. My best dog Daisy passed this afternoon. She will be missed.
We got her as a rescue. Someone had thrown here out of a car, she had mange, needed stitches and lots of TLC when we found her some 8 years ago. We adopted her and gave her a good home. She went out this morning and chased that pesky squirrel on the fence. After lunch, we found her by the fire place in her "puppy dreams" sleeping pose.
Condolences on your loss.
Condolences for a loss of a member of your family - and pets definitely are family. May your fond memories of your your dog live on.
Saying sorry isn’t enough.
You know that I know.
:(
I am so sorry for your loss..breaks my heart. God Bless Daisy may she rest in peace
I have two aging chocolate labs, and a well into middle age St. Bernard.
It's not going to be easy, and quite frankly, I am dreading the end.
Being on the deciding end of the personal death panel will not be fun.
It’s hard losing a pal. Just picture him up in Piddler’s Green, waiting to come back in another dogbody. Let his good spirit stay with you.

Really sorry to hear that. I lost my dog Sadie last month. Sadie made it to 18 years.
Ohmigoodness, that is sad to lose two animals so close together. I had no idea donkeys could live to be that old, to me it’s amazing.
RIP poor creatures.
been there thrice before; my condolences to you; RIP Daisy

I AM NOT THERE
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Blurry screen here too. Prayers.
Condolences. Go out and get another dog. Won't completely mend the hurt, but it will help to fill the hole in your heart. I know.
Are you doing OK? I hope your heart doesn’t ache too long or too hard. Your pup was lucky to have y’all and it seems she had a quick exit, that’s a blessing. Take care, taxcontrol.
Sorry to hear of your loss - sounds like you and Daisy had a good life together.
So Sorry for your loss.
Prayers for you and your family, and a big hug from a fellow rescuer/rescuee.
I am SO sorry to hear that. I too, love my dogs very much. My oldest, 12, was very sick this week and I thought it the end. I nuked her with potent probiotics and vit c and she bounced back; but, alas, I know her day will come.
I’m so sorry. What a lucky dog Daisy was, to have you rescue her. She must’ve thanked her lucky dog stars to get you!
I’m looking at that “sad last vet trip” with my 19-yr-old cat very shortly.... hoping to get thru Christmas and New Years first before I have to devastate my 9 yr old.
Sincerest condolences - we had to put down our 6 year old pittie/mix last week due to non fixable health problems and it’s pretty somber around here right now.
We have a rescue maltipoo. She is the sweetest little dog, but with a lot of medical issues. She has to have surgery next week for mammary tumors.
I really am sorry for your loss.
hope she got that squirrel,
least in her dreams
