I notice the Telegraph article does not provide a source for stating Jang was taken out by mortar. Two sources did state he was machine gunned to death (see below). There have been much earlier reports of using mortar rounds to obliterate military persons who opposed Jong Un and with almost the same quote as used here in this article, re: "down to his hair". Just re-read the article. It was about a 2012 execution, not the Jang execution earlier this week. Maybe I need new glasses.
