Tennis elbow I’ve had for at least 2-3 years, from putting newspapers together. It started going into my shoulder and wrist and I feared I was messing everything up trying to compensate for the elbow so I finally saw the doctor who made me stop putting newspapers together for at least 4 weeks. That’s what the therapist thinks I may have done too. He thinks my tricep is injured. I’ve been in therapy 3 weeks but keep having to go back to ground zero because I try to do too much with it and aggravate it again. I don’t think there’s any way I can keep doing that job; I’ll hand it off to my son. Looking for work now, but in this area you have to be able to speak Spanish or lift 60 pounds for the jobs that are available.
My daughter has a popping hip and has to be in physical therapy for that and we had a hard time figuring out why she was having such abdominal pain. Figured it out finally - pneumonia in her lower right lobe. We found out when she tested positive for strep and the antibiotic still didn’t take away all her fever. Between all the therapy for the 2 of us, x-rays, etc, I feel like I’ve lived at the clinic the last month.
I also had a hot iron fall on my left hand, about 10 days ago. Second-degree burns and bruising. The scab kept getting pulled off by my sleeve or mitten. It’s much better now, with the raw area only about the size of a dime, but it’s made it difficult to do my arm exercises without pain. It’s also kept me from a really major sewing project I’ve been working on. Maybe the sewing machine breaking was the Lord’s way of keeping me from working my arm by a lot of pulling and twisting.
I’m starting to sound like a country-western song. All I need is for my cat to die and my kids to get run over by a reindeer. lol
You need a million bucks and a long holiday.
