Yes for me he was the perfect Scrooge. I have the DVD, Alister’s acting made you believe he really was Scrooge in the 1951 version. A Classic

Sim is my favorite. When he realizes it’s Christmas Day and he’s still alive - wonderful. I particularly like his expression when he’s at Fred’s house and standing on his head . . .

Didn't forget him, just like Scott better.

The difference as I see it is Sim version of Scrooge like to be mean I felt.

Scott's version Scrooge never thought about it one way or the other the civilities of life never entered his mind.
