I landed a job
Congratulations!
Yeah!
Congratulations! God is good.
I wasnt the party who got the new job but thanks anyway
For the benefit of others, can you tell us what kind of work you're doing in the hospital, and what kind of qualifications or experience you have to prepare you for that job?
like what?
yes there are jobs. Most crappy jobs on Craigslist. I posted almost 120 resumes. I took a crappy job working at a doggy daycare for 8.50 an hr. Hated every minute of that gig. it was 25 hrs a week but a job is a job. Now this job is 40 plus a week...
yes there are jobs for Blue collar types. The shame is most are lousy jobs but, again, a job is a job and better than welfare.
Yeah!
YAY!!
Very happy for you!
Good luck in the new position.
There are decent jobs to be had but it takes a lot of work and waiting.
You can't find the discrepancy here? I'm surprised ya got a job.
I will be delivering Drugs to old folks homes and peoples home. It is a depressing job in a way because most are homes for dementia patients and home delivery is for people who wish to die at home.
I delivered Office supplies before the lumberyard job. Plus I was a EMT for 16 years so I have some medical knowledge and people skills. A clean driving record and criminal record. Plus I can pass a drug test{ that was the most asked question in the many interviews BTW}.
The biggest help was friends who supported me ( not with money, with words and side jobs)and a belief in God.
That’s good to go. Long story short, I spent 48 days and six surgeries in my local hospital. Ever since, I thought it would be cool to work there, just to give back. I’m still waiting...
No more freeping for you.....
glad your feeling better. Happy Holidays to all here..May you all have great news like the one bestowed on me.
No.....unless I work late. I will miss the Friday silliness thread.
Sorry... I need to be more careful.
Thank you. It took about a year and a half of physical therapy to get back where I am now. I’m just hoping Banner Health will be giving me a call in the next few days.
No problem here. I will take the congrats whenever I can get em....
My father had a similar job part-time, though he delivered only non-medicines, such as Depends, nutrients, devices, and other supplies. Some of the older people come to rely on your visits (as few other people visit them), so I would encourage you to be as positive as you can.
Good luck driving, navigating, and parking around the 'Burgh!
Congratulations!
