I had the opportunity to visit a Wegman’s a couple of times and they were impressive with their variety etc but the pricing was as high end as it gets.
Around here we have Food Lion, Walmart, Harris Teeter and my favorite for specialties, Fresh Market. Nothing beats Fresh Market, imho. Yeah, its pricey also.
We have an Aldi and we’ve been...great sauer kraut from Germany!...but I guess our mainstays are Wallyworld and Food Lion with a healthy dash of Costco and Sam’s.
Funny you mention sauerkraut...I went to a Harris Teeter the other day (not my usual one) and I could not find the kraut. So I asked one of the people who worked there. She did not know what sauerkraut was.
