Police: Wendy’s employee drops pot in burger

"Upon arrival at home, she took her food out of the bag and noticed a strange odor in her hamburger,” Gaddis said. “When she opened it, she discovered a partially smoked marijuana cigarette.”

The woman took the burger and her receipt back to the restaurant and reported it to the manager and called police.

“They were able to speak with the suspect, who admitted that she was responsible,” Gaddis said. “She had been smoking while she worked. When she was fixing the burger, part of the marijuana fell into the burger.”

I would bet smoking while cooking in a restaurant is a health department no no also. What was the manager doing?????
Yes. Customers and employees are no longer allowed to smoke inside the restaurants. I would think the Mgr. would be responsible for enforcing this reg.

I’ve never eaten at Whataburger; as far as I know there aren’t any in California. I like Carl’s Jr too, unless I’m in a hurry. I especially like the buffalo bleu cheese burger they’ve offered recently.

And I LOVE In-N-Out. Their burgers are to die for and they have the best fries this side of Chick-fil-A. Not to mention their employees are very courteous, the service is fairly quick in spite of the fact that I never get in there with fewer than ten people ahead of me, and everyone working the counter speaks English.

As fast food places go Chick-fil-A is the best, even better than my beloved White Castle. Our local puts on a cruise night every week. The other day we had a toy drive for Toys for Tots. GREAT PEOPLE!!

About 2 months ago I was in Colorado for work and got the Buffalo Bleu Cheese Crisscross cut fries... Straight up Crack, I tell ya. It was at the point I would get 2 orders of them for the meal (ask for extra bleu cheese and Franks Red Hot), and the the Starburger was the side...

Great, now I am hungry and it’s 4am... back to bed.

If the employees unionize, they will get a .10/hour raise, pay $500 a year in union dues, while the union bosses get HUGE raises
My lovely wife worked at a Child World when we first got married. After 30 days she got a .25c/hr raise. BUT, she had to join the UFCW which took $10.00 out of her check. She then got a job at a Toys-R-Us, better pay and no union. Child World eventually went out of business.
