So Kiffin’s a idiot then.
I don’t know if I buy this but it is tossed out when people talk this way, I listen to a fair amount of sports talk:
Cowboys might suffer to from not getting one of the top picks, in the league they’ve probably been finishing “relatively” high, mid-table or better. Now New England has overcome drafting low but they are probably the exception to the rule.
I think this can be factor but I would not overstate it.
However, I just hope its size 48 is enough to cover my shiny metal... chest!
Okay, okay! I confess, I like oddball crap... no one else has!
Congrats to your nice find there.
Per other posts, it’s interesting, Dallas had once as most of us know, the Doomsday Defense so yes, there defensive play this year stands out like a sore thumb.
All the same, the Saints have been thumped a couple of times this year, I’ve got to think Carolina goes into New Orleans or the Saints go to the Seahawks, these are Marquee Matchups but I don’t think the visitors really expect to win and put out their best effort.
Saints got upset in Seattle a few years ago in the playoffs, so they’ve got to be ready.
With all honesty, the Patriots have benefited from a weak AFC East for the last decade.
I AM SOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!
Seriesly, Roger the Dodger is my number one lifetime hero!
Actually, it’s still caught up with the Patriots, I don’t think their defense is doing that well either, #24 total defense: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&defensiveStatisticCategory=GAME_STATS&conference=ALL&role=OPP&season=2013&seasonType=REG&d-447263-s=TOTAL_YARDS_GAME_AVG&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-n=1 and without Gronk, they could really struggle. Colts have come down to earth, class of the AFC definitely looks to be out West.
The rest here is a bit meandering:
I’ve looked at that Defensive Table for about the past 2 months, Texans are at #3, not that long ago, despite the dire year Houston is having, they were still the top defense as far as giving up the least yards per game but that is only one statistic.
Panthers have given up the fewest points, 188, only team still under 200 and they took it on the chin vs. N.O.
I also saw a table where at least for this year, you have a number of “worst to firsts” and “first to worsts”, case in point, the Chiefs from worse to well, okay, they are 2nd but you get the idea, Texans, bad year, so it goes.
“Class of the AFC looks to be out west” Okay, nobody jump on me, I hope the Bengals can do something in the playoffs, Ravens, someone else and the Pats might be able to get something going as well. Wouldn’t mind seeing the Bengals go to the SB.
Well, you are in luck. I'll suck in my gut... and share!

Your generosity sparkles like the stars on Cowboy helmets under stadium lights when they’re winning.
:-)
They should have held it last month on 11/12/13.
Yeah, wish we could say that... about last Monday night in Chi-Town--
Well, as Bogie said to Bacall, "Here's looking at you... kid!"
