Like that mix...a lot. Have never heard it before - which is hard to believe being such a fan - so thank you for the link.
Love Tori Amos as well. Little Earthquakes still gets lots of air time in my car. IIRC, both Amos and Bush are/were Scientologists.
Them heavy people....

He’s rockin’ that Locutus of Borg look there :)
And I should say that Nina Hagen is an example of what a 1980s singer looks like after being embalmed.

Excellent! The Chic Groups held up well, and Shane McGowan’s new teeth were a welcome addition.
No Def Leppard?

And what the Hell happened to Kim Wilde? She was so hot in that “Kids In America” video.

I was just out in NYC with people from this era.
Now I’m sad.

Most held up pretty well (with the notable exception of Kate Bush!).
Just a few months ago, I saw Suzanna Hoffs play a small club in NYC - she was great, and still just about as hot as she was in the eighties. Smoking hot at 50 something.

Speaking of the eighties, I just saw Sinead O'Connor in concert in NYC a few weeks ago.
She was on top of her game! Back in shape, seemed happy, voice was as powerful as ever.
Here's a video I shot that night:

Some of those pictures were begging for snark. Pete Burns, for example. It was good to see that Grace Jones finally decided to grow hair, and if that’s The Cure, then The Disease might be a better option.
However, the Bangles, the GoGos and especially Bananarama have done .... erm ... quite well for themselves.

I caught Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo doing a regular segment on a little kids show on Nick Jr.(Its called Yo Gabba Gabba) Still an odd fellow.

Mick Jones of The Clash and BAD looks pretty good for having almost died a some years back, saw him and Don Letts playing at a club in London a couple years back. In the pic they use, he looks like a dead ringer for Bogie circa "The Caine Mutiny."
