LOL! It really was outstanding. Still love Summer Glau.
Hey come to think of it, she was in three of those shows...Firefly, Sara Conner and Doll House.
Glad I remembered that.
BTW...The Firefly movie, Serenity... fantastic! Some of the best lines of all time.
One SF show that should have been cancelled immediately: “Lost in Space”. Not a serious SF show.
Agree about John Conner. I’d have mute him until Summer Glau came on.
LMAO! I totally disagree with you, but love the Ron Paul reference.
Salute.
A trip to NYC (only to visit) is highly recommended. Go before liberal governance makes it unsafe!
I started watching that on Netflix and picked up on that about the 2 or 3 episode. That did it for me.
I loved watching Kolchak, Night Stalker from the 1970s, the inspiration for The X-Files I think.
Of course the governments around when this occurs will play the blame game, that’s what governments do, esp. leftist ones. However, I believe their pronouncemetns will ring hollow, just as “Hope and Change” is doing so now with increasing numbers of Americans. Eventually governments must own their failures, even with massive propaganda organs, such as Pravda or the New York Times.

I don’t think it is boredom that is off putting, I believe when you finally grow up, you realize the semi-utopian vision that these shows subtlety (or not so) promote (based on a powerful, but just world-government) is never going to come to pass, because it cannot. The world of the future is going to look more like Detroit. Furthermore, there are no Vulcans out there ready to impart to us light-speed technology. Ergo, no world peace and plenty, and no weekend cruises to Alpha Centuri. I think our time is now better spent Freeping than Treking (or is it Trekking?).
