Apologies, my bad for not reading correctly - you were talking playoffs and I was thinking you were referring to next week’s game. I saw “maybe this is the beer talking” and missed “consider this a playoff scenario”. You know us girls, sometimes we read too quickly and miss stuff, especially when we’ve not had enough coffee :-(
Maybe I should switch to beer for breakfast.

This is not a game to be missed. It should be an outrageous mauling. But could you imagine if the Browns hang in there?
I like two kinds of football. Really high performance, analytically played football. And totally silly football.
Unfortunately, I need to go to work (thankful I have a job).

Be very careful on what you wish for, my friend. If Rodgers isn’t ready to play this week, it’s entirely possible that he will be ready to go against your Boyz.
One thing that I am certain of, is when he returns to the field, it is going to be something that will fire the PACK up like nobody’s business. At the same time, several other players that have been out of action will be healthy and chomping at the bit.
That said, I would LOVE to have a brewski or two with you anytime!

will not be a positive for my Boys and accept that as part of the game--
What I was razzing big about Brett's Packers lousy record in Dallas... ... in response to his bring up the Cowboy's sorry pre-1970s ''Next Year's Champs' reputation.
I just hope Aron Boy is not back in top form...

Here’s my thinking. Rodgers is ready to go this weekend. The question is do we let him stand on the sideline and see IF Flynn can show the stuff that got him the big payday in Seattle? If Flynn can pull a rabbit out of his hat, then everyone can relax about the backup situation and Rodgers gets a few more days to heal that shoulder. Keep in mind that Matthews will not be wearing a cast and that EDS looks like he’ll be back as well.
OTOH, if Flynn pulls a “Monica” like he did in Detroit, then Rodgers comes in and adds a spark to an already gun-shy team. Beat the Dirty Birds and build on momentum heading into Jerry’s Playpen.
The key, of course is for my PACK to relearn the fine art of WINNING!
In any case, there is still plenty of football to be played. I just hope and pray that Roger Goodell and his league of Soccer Zebras don’t screw things up any more than they have.
