I strongly advise Mr. Davis to avoid Tuscaloosa for the rest of his life.
I am told by credible sources that Auburn fans actually do live and work in Tiscaloosa
Cleveland Browns 4 8 0 0.333
Buffalo Bills 4 8 0 0.333
Jacksonville Jaguars 3 9 0 0.250
Houston Texans 2 10 0 0.167
None of the above AFC teams have a snowballs chance of being a playoff contender this season. They fall into the 'eliminated' category.
I think it's Bama's kicker that needs to avoid Tuscaloosa.
Jags are playing much better now.
Tier Two: Carolina, NO (at home only), KC, Bengals, SF
Tier Three: Lions, Dallas, Philly, AZ, Chicago, GB
Everybody else
This is not predictive of ultimate SB teams, but clearly, I think, this is how the power profiles look right now. We know that NO is an entirely different team at home, nearly unbeatable, but just pretty good away. That is not a good trait for playoff seeds below #1. NE has the advantage of playoff experience so this is really in their favor, but Denver has Manning. That's a wash.
Seattle has to be the favorite to represent the NFC and Seattle vs NE or Denver would be excellent.
Look out for Carolina with a spoiler role as they might have the best defense and Cam is a wild card.
Then you have Dallas with Tony Romo; they have so many injuries but are improving as the season progresses despite it. Still, they are a long shot to go far. Philly...please.
The Loins are also capable of advancing to the NFC Championship, though the matchup with Seattle or Carolina is not a good one for them.
I suppose at this juncture we'll see Seattle vs Denver come February.
Agreed. He might want to graduate and seek another state. That said, you have to feel bad for the kid, he will carry that for the rest of his life.
I think Cade Foster already has his degree. But I could be wrong.
That is a helluva find............Kind of hard for Tomlin defenders to poo-poo it all now?
I wouldn’t write off Philly so fast.
Well, sometimes I think with my football heart. I just cannot bring myself to entertain the idea of the hated Eagles enjoying any success, and if Dallas can deny them that in the final game of the year, then it will be like a playoff victory for me.
And besides— hard to see Seattle not going all the way, barring major injury to Wilson or something squirrelly happening in the playoffs. So more than likely it’s just Seattle and everybody else in the NFC. But that’s why they play the games as someone said.
You know how Dallas does in the last game of the season with a playoff berth at stake? Not a very good record to say the least.
What does “contenders” mean? Because some of those are at 3-9 and 2-10. And have zero chance of playoffs unless some cities get nuked soon.
and that guy is now Strength and Conditioning Coach at UCLA isn't he?
It’ll be the closest to a playoff win the Cowboys have had in about 15 years
