He points out that while humans have many features in common with chimps, we also have a large number of distinguishing characteristics not found in any other primates.
Dr McCarthy says these divergent characteristics are most likely the result of a hybrid origin at some point far back in human evolutionary history.
What’s more, he suggests, there is one animal that has all of the traits which distinguish humans from our primate cousins in the animal kingdom.
‘What is this other animal that has all these traits?’ he asks rhetorically. ‘The answer is Sus scrofa, the ordinary pig.’
For a gene ticist this guy is sure retarded, the modern pig came from humans breeding wild pigs which have less of the charactertistics that this guy is citing....
So in his addled mind, humans came from pigs.... which had to be domesticated FIRST... then bred to apes, but how could they be domesticated first if humans didn;t exist first....
Unless he is sthrowing time travel into the equations....

Both pigs and chimps are mammals. So are humans. If you believe in evolution, at some point they all probably had a common ancestor and therefor some common DNA.
Not the other way around that a chimp and a pig mated and produced offspring.
If this was so, then pigs porking chimps would make fertile humans, EVERY TIME.
