LAS VEGS -- Metro police are investigating a shooting that injured a Black Friday shopper.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. Thursday. According to police, a man purchased a big-screen television from the Target near Flamingo Rd. and Maryland Pkwy. While he was walking to a nearby apartment complex, a suspect approached and fired a warning shot, causing the victim to drop the television.
Officers tell 8 News NOW the suspect then took the television to a nearby waiting vehicle, where a second suspect was waiting. As the first suspect was loading the television into the vehicle, the victim approached and tried to get the television back. That prompted the suspect to fire several more rounds, shooting the victim in the leg.
The victim was taken to Sunrise Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.
Metro has not released a description on the suspects or their vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

Come on, who walks around with a new tv in a crime infested place like vegas. Guy has to have more sense than that. We aren’t in Kansas anymore Dorothy.
When the local news reports the crime, they’ll have to show a blank screen when they end the segment with, “Viewers are asked to help by contacting the police if you know the suspect or recognize the vehicle.”
Las Vegs?
Meatless Mexicans?
I have been to poor third-world countries, and let me tell you, even they would be insulted to be equated with these people, for lack of a better word.

Darn that extreme and dangerous Tea Party. Darn it to Heck.
Note that these violent outbursts tend to happen only in years when Thanksgiving falls on a Thursday.
Bunch of Cretins
East side. Lower middle class with ghetto-ish tendencies. When I lived in Las Vegas the grocery stores in that area were closer to my condo - but I always drove much further out to the West side for shopping to avoid potential, er, tactically difficult situations.
