Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman. It is a great law but lying republicans are trying to destroy it. I signed up with no problem on the website. Republicans want to repeal my new insurance. Obama is a hero!
Two Freepers starting their day together....very nice. :)
My husband actually makes our coffee. He has a special touch...makes it strong enough to drag you out of bed. I couldn’t improve on that, so...
I have at least 25 nephews and nieces. Babysat all of them at one time or another.
Now I’m getting the great nephews and nieces. At Thanksgiving my brother told Cyber that his youngest daughter had a baby turkey in the oven.
I take it your typing skills are coming back to you and being comfortable again.
I have the worst time of things when I have something in one hand and want to type a message. I wouldn’t like having to respond without a full keyboard.
Doesn’t Darks make the strongest coffee in here?
I have this weird clock inside of me. I wake up five minutes before Cyber. I don’t drink coffee, but I love the aroma. I make French press coffee for one.
Of course there would be mention of my death brew while I’m at w k.
:-(
Side note: I was banned from making my death sludge due to the coffeemaker not liking the abuse.
Whiney appliances, sheesh.
Jake is scouting the most advantageous spot from which to commit feline atrocities.
Piper, to Jake, might be an enemy canine.
He has to be certain!
Lol.
“Activate the FTI!”
I’m sorry for the delay, but Santa was a little late coming down the chimney. He began with a phone call from my daughter, asking if I wanted to go to breakfast.
After breakfast, SiL installed the gate with some tools that he “just happened to have” in the trunk of the car. And if that wasn’t enough, he set up my TV so I can get Netflix, I can play DVDs and the home theater is hooked up to all of it!
I am SO excited! It’s like, “WHAT A CHRISTMAS!!!”
Not to sound ungrateful, but the next thing is hooking up the bedroom stuff...the VHS to DVD recorder/player to the TV. Too bad I don’t have a sound system in there...
So YES! It has been a VERY Merry Christmas! And I’m worn out!
(It doesn’t take much to keep me happy!!!)
” but Santa was a little late coming down the chimney.”
I know nothing about Santa launching cannon disguised as a chimney or Kuala Lumpur.
My ping list is public but there IS a restriction: Sionnsar MUST remain the first name on the list, or I will go through the back channels and read the Riot Act to the Offender!
You rock Cy!
Merry Christmas!
Thanks, NC. It has been an extremely GREAT Christmas! The best one in years!
I’m so blessed! I have so many FRiends and family, it’s not even funny. Thank you for being on both lists!
I have learned about several "suspected" dates of Christ's birth, but I believe he was born on April 6. It is a logical date, since the shepherds were in their fields with the flocks, and it was tax time, which meant "census."
This always took place in the Spring. We celebrate it on December 25 because we can, and no matter how you cut it, it will not change who He is.
Have had a rough time of it. You remembered!!!
Broke my right wrist in August lifting a ladder and getting the block wall fence in between the ladder and my wrist. Thank the Good Lord I had two neighborhood girls helping me. Had to have a plate and eight screws in that one.
I heal quickly, but the surgeon on my next visit said my right shoulder was sagging. He had taken X-rays two years prior. I had AVN (avascular necrosis) in that shoulder.
Had my right shoulder sawed off October 30. He put it back on again...
Doing well. I did sprain my wrist in between, but what the heck.
Cyber took care of me the whole time, but what is really weird is I still had to make him coffee, left-handed. Very odd.
But then you’ve known me for a very long time.
I had a beer with breakfast, but since coming home, I have been hitting the Cardboardeaux!
I am so happy with the home theater sound! YAY!!!!
Having one child caused thumbs to bleed. I can remember rubbing the over-sized safety pins in my hair to dry them off and make entry into the cotton fabric easier. Girls today have no clue...LOL!
We only made it to 64 today, but it was SO nice having my door open on Christmas!! I am so grateful for small blessings!
You have brought as many children into the world as you could care for, and you have cared for them quite well.
They are all “Only Children” in that they are uniquely gifted, uniquely loved and uniquely inspired!
I believe Kathleen is the Tailgate...but I could be wrong...
Have you tried the Zinfandelboard? Quite tasty.
I believe Catherine is already on my ping list, as of several months ago...
No worries, Catherine! Some folks can respond asap and some may take a few days. The point is, I think of them all and believe them worthy of my thoughts.
I hope your Christmas has been blessed and yes, MERRY!
