If you want to keep your second amendment to the Constitution, you can do so. PERIOD.

After all, it is the law just like Obamacare is.

The 12 provisions below will work to make America a more safe place by eliminating the obviously failed experiment that is the second amendment.

Stopped reading right there. I'm off to another thread. See ya.

1. The second amendment of the Constitution of the United States, being no longer necessary to a secure state is hereby nullified.

The Second Amendment is needed more right now that it has been since the surrender at Yorktown. This would indicate to me that the author has serious mental "issues" and is probably a heavy user of recreational drugs. In fact, this so-called "Trayvon Amendment" is an excellent example of why the Second Amendment is still necessary.

Has America forgotten that it was Trayvon who went ‘Knockout game’ FIRST on George Zimmerman BEFORE he was shot?

I just love #10. This person obviously never goes to the gun range to shoot for an hour.

I thought #11 a doozy. Fair market value minus confiscation costs which means that you’d be owing twice what the gun is worth in the first place.

The 28th Amendment, as drafted, will implement a series of common sense gun laws and implement new revenue streams for Americans.

I stopped right there. Never happen.

Beatdowns are permissible by the protected class of society against the unarmed populace then?

The knockout game is being played from coast to coast and yet there are no civil rights prosecutions against the perps.

It’s all being treated as random local crime stories.

Well, there is a 28th amendment under discussion, but this ain't it. Here's what it actually is:

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States”.

“3. No gun may reside in the same building as anyone who has failed a mental health evaluation, as performed by a medical professional, as approved by the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare).”

Not to give this too much attention, but #3 won’t work.

Cops can’t have guns in the copshop/jail if anyone there (good or bad guys) is ‘mental’.

No armed guards anywhere a ‘mental’ may live, work, shop, etc.

Unless they arm the guards with something other than guns.

???

This is good... Libs should bring this to the Convention of States, kickoff this coming 12/7 at Mount Vernon.

This, and others like repeal of the 17th will vie for 3/4 state ratification.

We’ll see which will survive the process...

Instead of a new constitutional amendment, what America needs is a New Deal. Not quite like FDR’s New Deal, however.

The US should make a treaty with an African nation, by which Americans convicted of felony crimes with sentences greater than 10 years, be offered citizenship of that nation as free men.

Of course, for a while, the US would subsidize this with direct payment to the leaders of that nation, on condition that these convicts not be granted passports or travel visas by which they could leave that country.

The offer would not be limited to black convicts. In fact, if convicts of other races, or other nationalities, such as illegal aliens, wish to take up the deal, they might be allowed to do so.

In that these convicts would likely at least on paper have a better education than most people in Africa, this would be an excellent opportunity to turn their lives around as well as bring prosperity to that African nation.

Perhaps in a hundred years, that nation could become much like Australia.

11. Assault rifles, semi-automatic, and automatic weapons, as well as those not fitted with GPS and trigger locking devices will be immediately seized by the government. The owner will be compensated fair market value of the weapon, minus the cost of the seizure operation.

Good luck with that.
