While this may not be "the first", it is a pretty cool URL and, from the little bit of playing I did with it, it appears to work as advertised.

Not listing all the stations in Pittsburgh. Renda stations - WSHH & WJAS -they may not be netcasting. Also MIA is 92.9 - used to be WLTJ but not sure of the calls now. KQV 1410 AM all news as well and there may be others.
Just letting ya know. Very cool project. Looking forward to checking it out more when I get the chance.

I will check this out. Really cool is that it is all the stations in the world. It would go well with TuneIn radio probably
Folks who listen to classic country will find out there are classic country stations in Norway (which has a following for US country music) and Iceland

There's a radio station that I fell in love with over the course of years of vacationing on Hatteras Island, and that would be WVOD (”Voice Of Dare, “ Dare County, NC). It's in Manteo, it's fairly laid back during business hours, a mix of popular, older and obscure, a mix of alt rock, classic rock, folk rock, occasional reggae, occasional Celtic, just a nice mix and never too over the top for the office. After office hours it reverts to what I recall from the early days of FM, adventurous, exploring a genre thoroughly or a musician thoroughly, always surprising with very knowledgeable DJ’s whose musical tastes are very much a part of their show. Me, an aficionado of college radio stations, I like to be exposed to new music by knowledgeable people, all sorts of music, and I actually really like a commercial station, this one, WVOD, “The Sound,” 99.1 FM.

From car commercials, where someone can request artist/group, I assume that there are proprietary versions. Is there a potential for similar application for when on the road, but not wanting such proprietary systems?

Very cool. I searched for a fairly old band, and found them being played in Singapore.

Holy carp! This is FANTASTIC! I just used it (*BTW*...using W7 and Chrome)...found out there are a LOT of radio stations across America playing Christmas music.
When I first pulled it up, I saw stations in my local area....and I found stations I didn’t know existed.
Is it alright to share this?

This is great, thanks. I’ve been using PublicRadioFan.com but most stations will no longer play from this site.
