Last week, a woman in Overland Park listed a wedding ring set on Craigslist that she wanted to swap for tickets to the Chiefs-Broncos game at Arrowhead on Dec. 1.

Since listing the rings a story that quickly went viral the seller has endured backlash from people who criticized her for giving up her wedding rings for football tickets. She asked to remain anonymous.
What she didnt tell anyone: The rings were from a previous marriage and have no emotional importance to her anymore.

Last year Chiefs tickets went unsold, even at bargain basement prices. This year they're impossible to find at any price.
Which extreme is closer to reality? Based on the team's history, I'd say the former.

A normal person would have sold the rings and used the money to buy tickets, I guess. Was she seeking attention?
Selling the rings is fine by me; it’s buying Chiefs tickets that brings her judgement into question
