Is it possible that people are so addicted to skin color that they refuse to acknowledge the most obvious indications that such an addiction is wrong? The answer, of course, is yes, many are.
A person of color recently ridiculed me because he felt I had lumped him and his family in the category of having something given to them based on color. (I apologize for not being able to find his name and his comment, which are somewhere on my Facebook page.) He was genuinely offended that mine was a broad statement and, as such, included him in that category. The thing he didnt do, however, was condemn the category. He just took exception with my placing him in it.

Your response comes off a little holier than thou.
Any way, who's stewing? I am just not worried about what a bunch of gibmedats think of me. Saying that I need to work on the issue is tantamount of saying that the problem is mine when it isn't. You want to feel that way, you go right ahead; I have more important things to think about and address.
The black community needs to get their own house in order before they start pointing fingers at other racial groups. Until that happens, no amount of soul searching or accommodations from white America will satisfy the beast that the liberals have created in black American culture..
“Holier than thou” . . . when you’re the one so far above the black community. LOL.
Blacks take exception to anybody pointing out problems in their community, if the person pointing them out is not black.
I seem to remember them being really angry at Bill Cosby for pointing out problems in the ‘hood.
The reason why they got pissed off about Bill Cosby was not because he pointed it out, but because he exposed the problems to the white community.
If he had just pointed it out to the black community, he wouldn’t have gotten lambasted.
