What about all of the couples who opt for a “destination” wedding? That’s very popular these days and designed to limit the guest list. How many potential guests can afford to jet off to Italy, or the Bahamas, for a wedding, even if they are related to teh bride and groom?

(Elaine casually makes her way to Jerry and George)
ELAINE: Hey! Monkeys! Knock it off. My best friend is trying to get married up here!
GEORGE: Elaine, you have to sleep with me.
ELAINE: (Definite) I’m not gonna sleep with you.
GEORGE: Reparations!
ELAINE: Would you grow up, George?! What is the difference? Nina slept with (Points to Jerry) him, he slept with me, I slept with Pinter. Nobody cares! It’s all
ancient history.
GEORGE: (Loud, so everyone at the wedding can hear) You slept with the groom?!
(Everyone goes silent. George and Elaine both look sheepishly. All eyes on them, expecially Sue Ellen)
i have no idea about any of it, but like i said, xshub writes the check for his organization on events like this every day, so he will know exactly what the deal is. and it’s not a fancy hotel, it’s Army Navy CC.
that is really scary. my friend Deisy’s parents still live there and i know she worries about them.
Exactly. If I ever go to India I am not using the toilet the entire time I am there. ;-)
Did anyone but me think the Guns and Ammo guy who wrote the pro-gun regulation editorial was pulling a Costanza and trying to get fired?
It’s not good. They may muddle through for a while making proletariat clothing and toilet paper.
But there won’t be any new TVs or phones or ipods.
And oil revenue will decline as they find it more and more difficult to get people to work there. Just last week, I read where they conscripted a drilling rig that had shut down due to lack of payment (from the gov’t company).
they had heretofore been able to travel back and forth to visit here without a problem, but i don’t know that that will continue. Her dad was a banker back in the day, they have been retired for some time.

texted xsboy to make sure he has his winter coat up there, as we weren’t sure and were going to mail it, but he does have it, thankfully. he will be home for a week for Tgiving on the 22d, i am looking forward to having him home.
