Good little war flick. I read somewhere that Sahara was Bogart’s favorite, in terms of roles got to play. It was also quite interesting to see Dan Duryea in a good guy role for a change.
Probably my favorite character in the film, though, was Louis Mercier’s “Frenchy.” His dialogue with Bogart about how to deal with a Nazi is just priceless.

I love to see these old newspaper adds to see what movies were on, and how many were never see again.
Did you know that SAHARA was remade into a Western in which Comanche Indians were the bad guys? I saw it on TV a few years ago.
