Rode friends '64 Bonneville all through college 'cause my Harley was a piece of junk that was impossible to start and broke down daily. Triumph's have been my first love ever since. In current stable: '71 Trophy 500 T100C, unrestored, 6k miles, looks great since I cleaned it up after 20 years in unheated garage; '72 Bonneville T100V 650cc totally restored by moi, looks brand new and runs like new too; '73 Trident T150V, 3 cyl. 750cc (who needs a sport bike?), all start on first kick. 100mph on Trident is like half throttle.....

Nice, dude. Have you been to the Triumph factory in Georgia? The British guy who owned Triumph settled in America after marrying a Southerner. There was an article on Forbes years ago and the dude loves the Southern lifestyle. Said there’s no way business-wise to build them in the UK even if he wanted to.
