Rode friends '64 Bonneville all through college 'cause my Harley was a piece of junk that was impossible to start and broke down daily. Triumph's have been my first love ever since. In current stable: '71 Trophy 500 T100C, unrestored, 6k miles, looks great since I cleaned it up after 20 years in unheated garage; '72 Bonneville T100V 650cc totally restored by moi, looks brand new and runs like new too; '73 Trident T150V, 3 cyl. 750cc (who needs a sport bike?), all start on first kick. 100mph on Trident is like half throttle.....  photo null_zpsc7d15d62.jpg

Nice, dude. Have you been to the Triumph factory in Georgia? The British guy who owned Triumph settled in America after marrying a Southerner. There was an article on Forbes years ago and the dude loves the Southern lifestyle. Said there’s no way business-wise to build them in the UK even if he wanted to.
