STOP THE MADNESS: Third person reports being anally violated by police
The Daily Caller ^ | 11 Nov 2013 | Robby Soave

A third New Mexico resident is claiming that she was physically abused by police and medical staff who exceeded their authority to search for drugs she never had.

The woman’s attorney came forward with her story just a few days after a local news channel reported similar stories involving New Mexico police forcing two suspects to undergo invasive surgery to prove they weren’t carrying drugs. Police used expired and nonexistent warrants to justify the improper and unethical searches, according to KOB-TV 4.

The unnamed woman is being represented by Laura Schaur Ives of the New Mexico chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. Schaur told KOB-TV 4 that her client was stopped by police in El Paso, Texas. After a drug-sniffing dog indicated that she might have drugs, police strip-searched her and then allegedly assault her by sticking their fingers into her vagina.

When the on-site search failed to turn up any drugs, police took the woman to University Medical Center of El Paso. There, she was given an X-ray, cat scan and full body search. Medical personnel probed her anus and vagina, according to Schaur.

“They then did a cavity search and they probed her vagina and her anus, they described in the medical records as bi-manual — two-handed,” she said in a statement. “Again, they found nothing.”

Schaur claims that police did not have a warrant to conduct the search.

If this horror story sounds familiar, it’s because two other New Mexico residents were violate by drug-seeking police officers. Timothy Young and David Eckert were pulled over for traffic violations in separate incidents, and were searched on the authority of the same unlicensed drug-sniffing dog.

Government’s “War on drugs” is its “war on people” and not just on people who use drugs.

If found guilty, the police in question should be summarily executed. Yes, I am serious. Abuse of power and the public trust this extreme should cost you your life. And no, I don’t think elected officials should be immune to the same scrutiny.

I would think the legal principle would be that behavior of a dog without a current certification cannot be used to establish “probable cause” for a search.

Who knows how it’s actually interpreted these days.

” KIDNAPPED,TORTURED AND RAPED HER.”

Yes, and nothing will happen to the preps until the torches and pitchforks come out.

“Welcome to Gregg Abbott’s Texas”

This was DHS, not state cops.

And El Paso is not really even part of Texas. It’s all by itself in a corner.

Parts of greater El Paso (the city) are, in fact, in New Mexico.

Around the Sunland Park race track it gets very confusing which state you are in.

How about we NEVER authorize full body searches,,,,,ever. Would society really seriously lose much ability to do proper law enforcement?

Here in California, many dealers except pot carry their product in their anus or vagina. They know that law enforcement is not going to through all the trouble to do a search.

These would be the small street dealers not the big movers. However, the best way to get to the big movers is to catch the little people and then "roll them up" to the big ones.

And they’re usually cops or holster-sniffers.

They’re certainly not conservatives, nor do would they know anything about Constitutional rights.

Cops have earned the hatred they get and much worse that they’re going to get.

And I can take any dog so trained and train him to give me that signal upon the non-verbal promise of a snicky-snack after the “bust.”

Yes, it was about drugs.

Body cavity searches on the side of the road, SWAT raids, dog killings, asset seizure etc. are all about the War on Drugs. If you support it you own it.

You can tell they don’t pay much attention to history and how these things played out in the past. How well do they thing the toadies nazis and soviets fared once those police states fell?

This was an abuse of authority, they had no evidence to support anything they did. Period.

You’re going to find that a lot of these drug war fans won’t give it up because they are biologically incapable of minding their own business, are lazy parents who want to free-range their kids so they don’t have to spend more time with them, or some combination of both.

When a SWAT team kicks down the wrong door looking for pot, that is the WOD in action. So is asset seizure, zero tolerance and the lot.

Yeah, it has everything to do with the Drug War.

Dogs have to be certified and this dog’s certification expired in 2011. My understanding is that this dog has a track record of false hits. He needs to be retired. His handler and everybody involved need to be prosecuted.
