I might have to watch the Dead Late tonight. I kind of want to watch Anthony Bourdain’s show about Detroit at 9. There is some seriously good eats in Detroit.

It represents the false premise that the United States must be held to universal norms imposed by dictatorial powers (i.e. the UN).

Wow, I never thought of it that way...........Interesting that the "Talking Dead" follow-up program never discussed that theory either.

All this time I thought this was a fantasy program about zombies without any sub-plot about UN powers and false premises.......I'm impressed with your intellect. Have you given any thought into contacting the writers to offer your insight?

1. Driving a Hyundai instead of a Peterbuilt Truck with 8 wheel drive that could smash through anything, has a CB radio, runs on diesel, and would be difficult for zombies to climb into, if stuck.

Actually, I've thought about this and I was thinking I might want to find a hybrid. Battery run car is very quiet.

Indeed there are! I attended a post funeral luncheon with my family yesterday at a restaurant in Grosse Pointe called Edourdo"s (?)........A small but beautiful restaurant with wonderful food and ambiance. However, it's not a place that I could personally afford..........

Funny, the wheel bore looks like about a .45, the barrel is a .22 or maybe a .25.....

Love the show but there are a lot of mistakes in it.

7. Not Dealing With Shane Earlier.

6. Going Back For Merle Dixon.

This. He should have shot Shane when he was going psycho right before busting open the barn. And risking people's live for Merle was idiocy.

That said, Rick is not as dumb as Lori was.

I’m a Rick fan, but I think his decision to cut Carol loose was premature. He should have taken the issue to the council, since he says he doesn’t want to lead, and put her in a cell.

Actually, just take it to the council. I'm thinking that a lot of the council might think she was making the right choice in regards to the protection of the group. Carol was an asset. Rick doesn't seem to be someone that can be trusted, he constantly switches his tactics. Find something that works, and stick to it. I think Carol was tired of Rick changing his mind about how things should be run; then, deciding that he doesn't want anything to do with the running of the prison. Then, he suddenly decides he has the right to make this decision without consulting anyone else.

Rick is the problem.

"That said, Rick is not as dumb as Lori was."

I don't blame Rick for not killing Shane earlier. They'd been friends since childhood; I understand why he gave him every chance.

That dumbbell Lori couldn't even manage to make a pancake.

Detroit is the birthplace of the Coney dog with disputes over which is best from Flint and here in Jackson. Personally I like them all.

Lots of good Polish and Greek food in Detroit as well.

Also, Rick said he made the decision for himself—remember? I don’t think he really had the right to banish a “founding” member of the group for personal reasons.

Carol has come so far, from being a burden to an asset. She can even pop a limb back into its socket! But her coldness does trouble me, I admit.

That all sounds good. My ex brother-in-law was of Polish heritage; he used to complain about not being able to find decent Polish food here in central Virginia.

I mean, #2 is a no-effin’ brainer. Ma-Deuces, 240Bravos, SAW’s, M4’s, M40’s, M9’s....man o man

I don’t care what happened at the CDC. You have hundreds of weapons and Lord knows how many rounds, plus explosives. And HumVees and Deuce & a halts, everywhere you look. But noooo, lets ride thru the apocalypse with a revolver and a winnebago.

Thanks! And I should contact the writers. I just thought of that parallel from catching up with prior seasons. Andrea represented the risks of compromise with different countries and/or leaders.

Anthony Bourdain's cousin is a Detroit investigative reporter (Charlie LeDuff) who beats up on the Conyers clan all the time.

Really Congressman John Conyers? Really?

A bicycle is quieter. And doesn’t even need batteries. And can go a lit more places.

Rick versus the council should be an immediate issue. Carroll was on the council. And so was Darryl who had some big feelings for her. But for now there is latitude for Darryl and Machone. I see it coming.

I agree they around us. But if I went down the street with an entrenching tool, whacking them in the head, I would get about three blocks before the cops shot me dead.

So where do you get 'em? Contrary to what you might believe there aren't military bases in every city and neighborhood.........

Just curious, where IS the nearest military base to the prison?

That's certainly true but the expeditions away from the prison are miles away and are to obtain life sustaining supplies. You can't carry what they're after while riding bicycles......
