POLAND - It was one of those nights for 56-year-old Marek Michalski. One of those nights when "one more" seemed like a good idea - but wasn't. He was found passed out on a bench in Piotrkow, Poland without a pulse. Concerned citizens called an ambulance and he was whisked away.

I did a lot of drinking for a lot of years, though that all ended quite a long time ago.
During those bleary, often scary times I often had to thank God the morning after for taking care of drunks and fools, since I was certainly both.
There were a few not so minor miracles in my case but none quite so sweet and funny and unexpected as in your story.

Been there, done that. Happens to me all the time!
A relative of mine,a mail carrier,flew to L.A. from the East coast when he was in a blackout. (This was in the days without security).
He came out of his blackout in L.A.,wearing his post office uniform.People kept asking him for directions.
