The content here is a little different than most movie review posts. The compressed news format put the theatre review on the same page as the movie review. Those features and all the other articles make up the entirety of one page of the newspaper.

Netflix doesn’t have “Princess O’Rourke” in their inventory but they do have “Son of Dracula” on DVD. We ordered the film last week and found it to be worthwhile Halloween viewing if you haven’t seen it before. I learned that you can destroy a vampire by burning its coffin before it can return before dawn. Not sure if I believe that one or not. This Dracula was undone because he picked the wrong southern belle to be his undead mate. Mrs. Homer wonders how ladies in these movies can wander around in the swamp and not get their chiffon dresses dirty.

“Mrs. Homer wonders how ladies in these movies can wander around in the swamp and not get their chiffon dresses dirty.”

That’s easy. They wear ‘swamp off’.

I would like to see this as it stars Lon Chaney, Jr and Evelyn Ankers. She was his attraction in Wolfman. Reportedly, he and frequent co-star Evelyn Ankers did not get along at all despite their on-camera chemistry

They did on screen, though:)

The lovely Ms. De Havilland has lived in Paris for many years. I don’t know if she still does, but traditionally she read the Christmas story from the Bible each Christmas at the American Cathedral.
