In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.

I haven’t kept up the the LawDog Files in a while...love this, especially since it perfectly mirrors my thoughts on the matter. This analogy works great!

That is it exactly. We want our cake back and we will have it.

It is only our side that ever seems to compromise. How about a compromise on abortion? It just doesn't happen.

In the beginning there was “Right” and “Wrong”....and we’ve been “compromising” in the WRONG direction ever since.

Until the right stops thinking the have to hold their ground instead of taking ground back. Until the right is willing to be called names like intolerant, hatefilled, etc, and while they spew hate we say F*ck you we will do what we want, we will get the same thing. End tolerance, compromise, and bipartisanship. NOW!

The vast number of Americans who are armed and complaining about restrictive gun laws are like a man holding a hose complaining about his thirst. If a million or ten million armed Americans want something, the means to get it are in hand, so to speak.

I got a compromise. Repeal everything back to the NFA, and we’ll talk about privately owned artillery pieces later.

No more “compromise” no more “be reasonable” ... none off it. Long past time to REGAIN our lost rights. The founders put those protections in the Constitution because they knew first hand we would need them to protect our selves from people just like those who are stripping them away little by little today.

Amen to that.
Two quotes for you that frame the debate on the Commonsense Civil Right of self-defense
“Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers(administrators) too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan of reducing us to slavery.”
Thomas Jefferson

Clearly one should be able to see over time that the desired end result of the national socialists is to take away ALL of our civil rights – especially the Commonsense Civil Right of self-defense

“From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” Karl Marx

That taking from people can only be done under the threat of a gun – hence, the national socialist gun grabbing left needs to eventually disarm any who would resist their wealth redistribution schemes.

The surrender caucus needs to get it through the thick skulls that UNless they roll over and let the national socialist left rub their bellies and they give up all of our freedoms, they are going to be called every name in the book.

Better to be cursed for standing up for Liberty than to be cursed anyway for ‘compromising’.

Get rid of 18USC922(o) and Chapter 4 of GCA, and I'll be happy ';)

...it is called incrementalism.

I've heard it called "salami tactics" or "how to get anything you want, one slice at a time."

Hitler used "salami tactics" to gobble up most of the smaller European countries until Poland refused to knuckle under and the shooting war actually started.

GtG
