Me

Posted on 11/05/2013 5:01:54 AM PST by Bulwinkle

Fairfax,Woodson highschool: at 7am I was voter #109, that's LOW! For the last 18 year I have voted at same time to get a feel for turnout. I'm in a Heavy Dem area.... So there is hope!

I love Whole Foods too. I’d go more often if the closest one wasn’t a 70 mile drive. They have excellent quality and selection of meat and seafood.

Excellent! I hope all the rest of the blue voters get stuck in traffic on their way home. :^)

In this neck of the woods Paul has been the first step in moving the generational democrats toward the R party. There are still home mad signs up for him

McAuliffe it seems is putting all of his chips in Northern Virginia having a huge turnout. Unless I missed it, he really did not do much campaigning in Tidewater or the rest of the state.

If NOVA stays home for the most part, McAuliffe may be in trouble.

Part of the difficulty in the polling for this race has been determining who is a likely voter. It seems to me that Cuccinelli has a strong core of support who will vote no matter what. So if turnout is light, advantage Cuccinelli.

Been driving through Portsmouth, one of the blackest communities here in Hampton Roads... Almost NO signage other than the local sheriff race. In all... 3 Cuccinelli signs and ONE for McAuliffe... ONE! I am seeing absolutely no indication of enthusiasm for the dems in this VERY dem community!

Don't be surprised to see 105% turnout in that district by the time all is said and done...

That is one of the few white neighborhoods in Norfolk.

That's good to know.

>>> staytrue >>> According to the polls, all Cucinelli needs is for the libertarians to abandon their guy and vote for Cucinelli and he wins.

Unfortuneately, the libertarians view the republicans to be the lesser of two evils and like to vote their conscience sort of like the way the “true conservatives” would rather vote for the democrat than see a “rino” win.

All you have to do is see the number of people on FR who supported Obama rather than see a “rino” win. <<< staytrue <<<

Your exaggerations...

Your exaggerations are BEYOND ridiculous.

Here's a recent post of mine. By the way, once I converted politically, AT - NO - TIME did I ever again vote for a rat.

>>> freepersup >>> Right here... raising my hand. I’ve voted in every presidential election since I was eligible, and that was when the voting age was lowered to 18, and in 2012, I, didn’t, vote, at, all.

I come from a dyed in the wool rat dominated family, followed by near constant brain washing by a trades union that I belonged to for 19 years. I converted after watching Rush on TV, and by riding with my boss who listened to Rush religiously.

My conversion included working to defeat Carole Mosley Braun, in 1998. She was the only sitting U S Senator to be defeated in the 98 election cycle. Illinois experienced a near unanimous purging of establishment candidates by the conservatives in said election. The IL. rinos regrouped and did everything in their power to defeat intra party rivals in the 2004 election, including Peter Fitzgerald, Jack Ryan and Alan Keyes. Their handiwork gave us Obama. Thanks rino combine.

Ray LaHood and Dennis Hastert worked openly to drive Fitzgerald away in 2004. Jack Ryan was outed by an Axelrod like technique, and Alan Keyes went down in flames. Ray LaHood was selected/rewarded by Obama, making him U S Sec. of Transportation.

The father of Obamacare, Mittens Romney, received his comeuppance in spades. FUBO. FUMR. FUGOPe. I STAYED HOME in 2012, with zero guilt.

To the GOPe- Coronate another rino and see what results you get. <<< freepersup <<<

My original post...

Unfortunately; I have close relatives who will probably be voting for McAuliffe today, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Apparently they don’t care about a baby’s right to be born, owning a gun, or care if Peter and Paul get “married”. Hard to a believe a radical leftist like McAwful could be elected in the old Confederate state of Virginia. Actually unbelieveable. All it takes for it not to happen is conservative saying hell no and getting out and voting for Cuccinelli. The leftist wins and the conservatives are to blame for sitting on their asses like they did when Obummer was reeelected last year. McCain got 3 MILLION more republican votes than Mittens did.

Color me very embarrassed...I got distracted and didn't finish that post...the close relatives that I fear will be voting for McAuliffe today are in Arlington...at the National Cemetery. (weeping)

Sorry for the confusion. :-)

My condolences...

When you go Galt, you can simply remind them that "elections have consequences."

My wife and my 3 kids haven't read Atlas Shrugged, but they've seen Parts 1 & 2 of the movie. When I utter that I'm "getting ready to go Galt", they know it's time to back off.

My first gift to my grandson was a onesie with "I Heart Dagny" on the front.

Very light turnout in my 2 to 1 Republican district in the Ninth.
Would have helped if the Dems had run someone against Kilgore.
Never got a robocall this election from anyone which was unusual.

I voted at about 6:45 this morning in VA Beach. My precinct always has a pretty strong turnout, even for City Council elections. Wasn’t nearly as busy as I expected but there were people there voting. I haad to wait for one guy ahead of me. Was in and out in 5 minutes.

“Calls and emails have come into the show reporting ghost-town conditions at some heavily dem precincts and packed at precincts in conservative areas in Virginia Beach.”

I’m sure the Unions and Dims will begin bussing folks in after they hear this. And, probably the voting machines to start malfunctioning in the conservative districts.

Prayers up and fingers crossed for Cooch from the “other Washington”

Nick’s Seafood Pavillion was owned by Nick Mathews. https://www.facebook.com/nicksseafoodpavilion

Nick’s at Gloucester and Shacklefords is owned by Nick Mantis. http://nicksspaghettiandsteak.com/our_history.htm

Nick Mathews had no children. I don’t think these two Nicks are related.
