Posted on 11/05/2013 5:01:54 AM PST by Bulwinkle

Fairfax,Woodson highschool: at 7am I was voter #109, that's LOW! For the last 18 year I have voted at same time to get a feel for turnout. I'm in a Heavy Dem area.... So there is hope!

Because of traffic in N.Va if you are going to vote before work you have to be early. The beginning of rush hour into DC starts about 5:15am

The polls close at 7 tonight.

Additionally, am listening to WNIS-AM’s local talk radio show.. Calls and emails have come into the show reporting ghost-town conditions at some heavily dem precincts and packed at precincts in conservative areas in Virginia Beach.

Cuccinelli has the enthusiasm edge, going into today. It appears, at least from some anecdotal data, that seems to be playing out .. at least in some areas.

For those familiar with James City County, as of 11:35, 660 voters have passed through at Jamestown High School. That tends to be a more conservative area than in Williamsburg itself.

What about absentee and early voting? How much of an impact are those votes expected to have?

Terry McAuliffe was handing out campaign lit at 8 am at the Vienna metro, my 25 yo daughter laughed in his face and refused it. 19 yo daughter and i had no wait at the voting booth at FairHill elementary at 10 am, low turnout. all good news.

Apparently they don’t care about a baby’s right to be born, owning a gun, or care if Peter and Paul get “married”. Hard to a believe a radical leftist like McAwful could be elected in the old Confederate state of Virginia. Actually unbelieveable. All it takes for it not to happen is conservative saying hell no and getting out and voting for Cuccinelli. The leftist wins and the conservatives are to blame for sitting on their asses like they did when Obummer was reeelected last year. McCain got 3 MILLION more republican votes than Mittens did.

Don’t forget though that dems don’t even wake up until late afternoon. I am not going to let my hopes get that high until mc concedes. THEY control who counts the votes and that’s scarey.

Although 1/100 of what the turnout was during the Presidential election going in at about the same time of the day, didn’t see anything out of the norm. I would say my precinct is 50-50 leaning democrat and perhaps as much as 55-45 Democratic. Nothing too anecdotal - nothing heavy nothing light.

Touche’ and when there isn’t enough of them, the cries for extending poll times will come.

Here in Southwest Virginia, turnout seems to be normal for an off-year election, but low compared to 2012. Lots of GOP signs, very few Dem signs and the few of them that are out there are for McAuliffe only. So, Cuccinelli is winning the sign battle in SW VA and that is a real good “sign”.
