I am new to prepping but just had to bring this idea here I thought was genius! Though you folks likely already know, still, I was excited to find this idea......the guy said it illuminates the whole room much better than just the flashlight thingy alone.

That does seem like a good idea. However, you should never store water in that type of jug, even if you bought the water in the jug. After a few months that flimsy plastic deteriorates, and they leak. I know this from personal experience. One of the best ways to store clean drinking water is in food-grade 5 gallon buckets with lids, because they’re sturdy and airtight. You can buy new, clean ones at large hardware stores like Home Depot, and they are very inexpensive.

So let me get this right, it is an LED light strapped to a plastic water jug, will it work with a clear water jug or must it be like a milk jug.
I live in Florida and electricity always goes out in storms, I just have a bunch of flashlights and candles, this looks interesting lighting a whole room and all.
