The 10-year-old girl whose body was found stuffed in a trash can had been starved to death by her parents, it was revealed today.
The victim, Emani Moss, was found on Saturday after her guilt-ridden father called 911 and said he was about to commit suicide.
At the time, Eman Moss told officers that his daughter swallowed poison and he and his wife dumped the girl's body in the garbage and tried burning it in panic.
Now police have concluded that the 10-year-old had not been given anything to eat for more than a week before her death.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that the arrest warrant affidavit says that the girl's father an stepmother Tiffany Moss 'caused the death of the victim...by denying the victim enough food to live.'
Investigators confirmed that the girl had not eaten since October 24.

I was wondering which one was the step parent. Cases like these almost always involve a step parent.

Not uncommon in urban areas. Usually they scald them to punish them.
You know what? It’s always the step parent. In the case of a step mother, believe it or not step mothers are jealous of the natural daughters.
And the step dads, same, jealous of the love the mothers lavish on their little sons.
And there are those who say evil does not have a face, well evil is showing two faces here. The punishment for these so called parents should be Biblical, it should be but we all know it won’t. And no these aren’t Obama’s people or Holder’s people, these are most definitely Satan’s people. I pray for the soul of this poor child.

This is what a “progressive” society has taken us back to. Yeah, it has always happened. Just not a frequently as it’s happening these days. Life no longer has any value. I guess that’s what happens to a society when it starts to believe that murdering infants is an acceptable practice.
I didn’t see anything in the article, but it seems to me they must have tied her up or locked her in a closet or something. Ten years old she surely could run away after one or two days without food. Or called someone - she didn’t have any friends from school or down the street? No one checked on her whereabouts?
Where this girl is going there will be no more suffering or tears. May God welcome her into her mansion where she will truly be loved.
Or they locked up the food. Have heard stories of that. For her to starve like this they did not do this over a period of a week they did this for a long time. I figure they made her so weak from hunger she could not go for help.
The titles of these articles are horrible.
I have to read the story to tell who got stuffed in the can.
Beyond that this is sick and twisted.
A nation with no moral compass is doomed.
These types of depraved freaks come in all shapes and colors.
Did they tell him to go ahead?
They should have offered assistance.
