that’s great. we have been steady contributing. the ads against him are positively slanderous.
Thank you. I had an interesting weekend. Truth’sBabyGirl is due with Baby #3 any minute. Mrs. Truth and I spent went there to help with the first two kids; the girl is 4, the boy is 2. A complicating fact is that the NYC Marathon literally runs down her street, and her car was landlocked. I parked my car several blocks away, just out of the restricted zone. Not sure how she could have gotten to the car if she had gone into labor then. Anywhow, she didn’t—actual due date is tomorrow. Mrs. Truth is still in Brooklyn, helping out. We don’t know if the baby is a boy or a girl. Whatever flavor it is, it will break the 4-4 tie of the current grandkids.
Isn’t it customary to give a definition?
Wow, congratulations to you! That was very smart of you to think ahead like that with the car
That’s why they pay me the big bucks. :)
I read through the thread and forgot to say good morning
See the following for a better definition of “phatic”.

obama should stick to phatic expressions, since any information that he’s trying to convey is false!
wow, that must have caused some anxiety, glad that she staved off labor and didn’t have to walk blocks to the car!! Congrats to you! We were actually up in bucks county PA this past weekend for xsteen’s engagement party. her fiance’s family lives in Newtown, and the party was at the Public Tavern in the old city part of Philly. John Adams made an appearance at the party and xshub and i had a lengthy chat with him LOL. The party was a blast and it was very nice spending time with our future inlaws.
no prob! i have had people in and out of my ofc all AM, so my attention here has been sporadic.
It’s nice when you can get along with the in-laws. We’ve been very fortunate with our 3 sets. And so have they. :)
I tried that, “For a fat girl you sure don’t sweat much”.
We visited Newtown when we lived in Bucks County! Very artsy area - really nice.
yes with 3 sets you ARE fortunate. i pray that the other two kids do as well with the families they marry into.
DEFINITION; denoting speech used to express or create an atmosphere of shared feelings, goodwill, or sociability rather than to impart information: phatic communion.
Sent a plea to my daughter in Glen Allyn to vote for “Cooch” this week. I think she will, although she was undecided 6 months ago.
My son and DIL had their 5th about year ago. They called the kid (in utero) “tie breaker” for 9 months. A darling little boy named Daniel was the result.
Most rappers are phatic ...
seriously? she can’t possibly want that scumbag carpetbagger mcAuliffe? and who in their right mind throws away a vote on a moronic third party candidate?
fantastically phat and phatic. A++++
it was very very pretty there, and it was gorgeous this past weekend. There is a store called MARISA in Newtown where xsteen has actually bought a few dresses. the future MIL took us there yesterday, very cute shop. We looked at the fancy dresses etc that are billed as mother of the bride and mother of the groom dresses. I looked at her and said, let me just say that i have ZERO intention of wearing a long dress to this wedding, but please feel free to wear whatever you want! i think the last long dress i had on was at my own wedding. i wore cocktail length to the HW inaugural ball we attended. i will never wear a long dress and i will never have an up-do. just ain’t ever gonna happen.
