Hydromorphone aka Dilaudid is hands down the worst drug I have ever had enter my system. It was through an IV as well and I thought for sure I was finished right there. Klonopin is a life saving prescription for tens of millions who have no other answers to lingering issues with addiction, brain injuries, seizures, emotional issues etc...the article is well researched but the drug use if you notice where people died “suddenly” were always when a cocktail was made of them.
Look...if I took klonopin, xanax, oxycontin, paxil, booze, coke, weed, diet pills, and sleeping pills on top of it....yeah...I would say I am increasing my odds of never waking up.
This is why there are a number of drugs that do more or less the same thing. Some work for some people and some work for others.
You did not want to give my brother in law morphine, it caused major paranoia. We got there in time to keep the VA from locking him up in a psychiatric ward with PTSD but it was a close thing.
