Furthermore, I actually believe that public humiliation should be used to dissuade people from behavior like this. I would like this person to stand up every month in front of a group of taxpayers and be given time, in a civil manner, to explain exactly why they should support her “lifestyle” and why those taxpayers and their children should do without in order to support her and their brood. No explanation - no check. Yes, it will be embarrassing. It should be, because it is.
Neil Boortz was very annoyed that great pains have been taken so that SNAP and other welfare program recipients are treated anonymously like other people buying things at the grocery. He thought that they should have certain hours late at night to shop, or go to the back of the line if the people supporting them are also in line. I think that at the very least, they should have their own lane. One lane.

They will try to make this a racial issue, but it really isn’t. Once I got out of mid-20th century suburbia, I learned that there are plenty of mooches from all races.

Yes...but OUR stupidity for allowing this to reach this point.
I admit I also didn’t think that giving people a ‘card’ rather than stamps was such a bad idea BUT I was thinking along the lines of the 3-10% of people who may ACTUALLY need help, not with the scam artists and corrupt officials who keep pumping OUR money to those that find by doing nothing ‘pays’ more than actually working.
Coming up in ‘our time’ dignity meant something to the majority of people. Those that couldn’t speak the language suddenly found that they ‘moved ahead’ faster once they could communicate with the rest of society.
Instead of demaning people in public housing at least speak the language, WE allowed street signs etal to be posted in the language of the people.
Today ‘we’ want to shut down a merchant who dare put up a sign “We speak English in this establishment”. In essence he is just telling you “I don’t want your money if we can’t understand each other and I am not going to hire someone that ONLY speaks your language”.
They try to group that with “If you are Italian or Irish or Polish or Black or whatever” you CAN’T come into my store is no where near saying if I can’t talk to you, there is no sense you wasting either of our time. Bring an interpreter, or a friend who understands both but......

Other than reposting ‘dead’ material, this is something that should be on the front burner till we can convince enough people to do something about it.
Guess the only ‘real’ thing to do is for all the productive squirrels (us), join the ranks of the non productive squirrels BUT no relief for ‘us’ as no more goodies will be coming in to redistribute.
‘They’ have us right where they want us.
‘They’ won’t stop and ‘we’ can’t quit.

It's not stupidity. In today's America, it's a valid business model.
Her actions are entirely logical (though immoral). That which you subsidise you get more of, taxed becomes more scarce.
