Did a hungover Secret Service agent accidentally shoot JFK?
The Globe and Mail ^ | Nov. 02 2013 | JOHN DOYLE

Posted on 11/03/2013 8:58:27 AM PST by rickmichaels

And so it begins – the plentiful coverage of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of U.S. president John F. Kennedy. The date itself is weeks away and there will be countless commemorative programs, specials and copious punditry on TV.

JFK: The Smoking Gun (Sunday, Discovery, 8 p.m.) is one of the most controversial of the bunch. Made for the tiny U.S. cable channel Reelz, it’s a two-hour docudrama based on the book of the same name by former Australian police detective Colin McLaren. He claims to have spent years on “the forensic cold-case investigation of JFK’s assassination” and says he believes he has found “the smoking gun” that killed the president. His conclusion is not the accepted story.

He didn’t build a platform. The boxes were around the roomside of him.

He built a sniper’s platform with the boxes. And he also built up a wall to hide what he was doing. Lots of pics show this. He did not need to lean out of the window.

LBJ? I don’t think so either.

Alex Jones, that guy is a bit of a Truther, Conspiracist and I thought his radio show came from Austin, I don’t know.

But I came across this guy from Austin reading Amazon reviews, I’ll be dog-goned if he wants to pin it on LBJ like all get-out and not only on LBJ but one can see for themselves at his amazon reviews.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-reviews/A278MAEX178VG8/ref=cm_cr_pr_auth_rev?ie=UTF8&sort_by=MostRecentReview

His reviews are like a full-time job to read all these books, all the “LBJ did it” books he reviews. It may be nutty, still kind of fascinating. Heck, according to this reviewer Morrow, LBJ was dirty, Morrow isn’t kind to Clinton either. I don’t think Dubya went unscathed though mild in comparison to these guys.

“How is defector Oswald simply allowed to return to the country, with the full cognizance of the FBI etc? “

Because it wasn’t illegal for him to return, genius.

And as for unintended humor, that crackpot litany that filled the rest of your post ought to come with its own bottle of Thorazine.

James Tague is the fellow who got a fragment of concrete in his cheek when the first bullet hit a curb and he was standing near the overpass.

Kind of amazing he is a Conspiracy Theorist as well after all of these years. Book just came out. Yes, I suppose one can say he’s capitalizing on this.

Can someone tell me why the entrance wound in jfk’s head was smaller then the round that oswald was using? And why is the exit wound on the right side when the shots came from jfk’s right side? It just doesn’t add up the exit wound should have been on his left side. And lastly someone said that it is possible for a full metal jacket round to fragment but the sole purpose of that type of round is not to fragment but to pass straight through like the non fatal shot did.

Anyone that has stood in that window in Dallas knows he easily could have done it.

Absolutly correct. I always assumed that it was some kind of really long range shot. Then about 20 years ago I was in Dallas on business. I had a few hours of free time and went to the book depository and looked out that window. I was amazed at how easy those shots would have been. It sure didn't take some elite sharpshooter.

2 questions: Where did the ejected shell casing from the fired AR-15 end up? Who picked it up off of the street or sidewalk?

Unknown, best guess it was picked up by SS either in the car or on the street.

just in case you run into anyone else peddling the secret service agent shooter theory ...here is the frame at the moment of the head shot from the Bronson film (original to extreme blow up)...yellow arrow points to Hickey seated on the driver side of the limo...obviously sitting down and not firing a weapon

It might have deposited inside the chase vehicle. Believe me, that would never see the light of day because then the SS would have to admit what happened and that will NEVER happen.

As you know there were quite a few people on the sidewalks and grassy type areas nearby as JFK was shot. About 20 or so of these people claim they smelled gunpowder during the shooting. When later questioned and informed about the very distinct ‘muzzle flashes’ from the barrels of the then new 5.56x45mm AR-15s as they are fired, what did these 20 or so people reveal to the Dallas Police or the Warren Comm. that they saw regarding those propellant gases and flash as the bullet exited the secret service agent’s AR-15’s barrel?

The Warren Commission ignored witness testimony to smells of gun powder at street level. That in and of itself speaks volumes. The effort to avoid implicating the SS was in overdrive. Can you imagine the SS telling the world they killed Kennedy? Neither could they!

Okay, How about those 20 ‘smoke smellers’ or more, (and MANY other witnesses ‘on the street’ at the time of the shooting), saying something to the local media, friends, and or the police about SEEING a muzzle flash, (forget the smoke smell for a moment), or SEEING an ejecting spent case flying out of the AR-15 Imm. following the event? How could the Warren Comm. cover that up? (They were not in place yet). Are their any pictures of the AR-15 firing? How about video?
