Apparently the driver didn’t shift into park before exiting the inverted vehicle LOL.

That reminds me of a hilarious “Pakistani Auto Club” clip my bro’ sent me some years ago. Of course, same result, but with plenty of allah snackbars no doubt.

I saw this clip on TV recently, probably on Jay Leno’s show.

Just watching the operator makes you feel some sympathy. The body language says it all.

“Aw crap. I just didn’t think of that. I’m hosed.”

HA HA!
Great one!

A medical doctor friend invited me over to take a spin driving his brand new Jaguar. I tried to beg off, saying I felt uncomfortable driving such an expensive car in a congested big city. But, he insisted...he was so very, very proud of it. I said, ok then, you start it up and you back it down from your garage to the street below (he lived on a hill) and when the vehicle is safely level in the street I will take the wheel for a quick careful spin around the block. I do not feel myself qualified to back it down hill and into traffic.
OK.

So, he puts the key into the Jag and tries to crank it.
But alas, his $150,000 kitty kat refused to get up (just like my absolutely free rescue-shelter kitty kat on a cold morning). Finally, he (very red-faced) had to call the emergency tow service. They sent a nice young kid of about 17 out, who almost predictably turned cocky when he saw what he was to tow. He slung that kitty up on the back of his truck faster than a homosexual San Francisco stud (probably, I don’t really know of course) slings up his latest “lover” -— and Booom Booom truck and $150,000 kitty kat go bumping down the driveway at about 69 mph. When this gay assemblage hit the road, so to speak, it did so with a profoundly audible BANG!!!!!!!!!!!! The kid seemed to get a tremendous thrill out of treating the hyperinflated luxury car to a sadistic beating.
My friend the doctor’s head hit the floor with almost as much force.

Moral: just because you paid a fortune for it, doesn’t mean it will run. (Explanation: Jags came with electric motor gas pumps and all the electrics were Lucas, Ltd.... the single-most cause of UK’s nearly losing WW2...when their various tanks and planes wouldn’t start, either...)

When my friend recovered from his faint, I bade my bye and happily scooted home in my 20 year old, $100 used car.

which did, of course, start... it always did...

Okay I’ll say it——— Lucas-the Prince of Darkness!

Up to his death, my dad corrseponded with an English friend who was a tank mechanic in WW II. This man was very complimentary of the quality manufacturing standards and reliability of the automotive portions of the American tanks and liked working on them much better than the British vehicles.

Ha ha. Lucas the prince of darkness. Ha. You got that right! Ha! A particularly awful condition for an electrics and lighting company. Ha! But they were indeed quite well known for their stuff not working. Maybe they got better I don’t know. I remember my dad ripping out lots of Lucas stuff though. To try to get his English cars to start and run more reliably.

Circa 1990, had a neighbor that went out and bought a pretty new, maybe nearly new Jaguar sedan.
Him and his wife set out to travel to another city to visit their daughter in school.
Car broke down.
A few weeks later they tried again, car broke down.
Again a week later. same result.

Yes, 3 tries, same results.
He sold it.

this is what keeps me from buying a used Range Rover even though I love the look, I can’t get over the fact of the constant trips to the shop I heard about. My 10 year old Honda Pilot — always starts, never lets me down.
